4th of July: Reschedule
Attention members! Because mother nature decided to rain on our Fourth of July celebration, quite literally, we are rescheduling for this upcoming Saturday, July 13th. It looks like she will have her act together by then, because the forecast looks HOT!
Same beautiful beach, same awesome crew, just a slightly delayed celebration. Hope to see you there !

4th of July: CANCELLED
Due to weather issues, White Bear Lake has postponed their fireworks display to Friday, July 5th. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule our member event for that day, and because of the rain we will not proceed with holding it today. The beach will still be decorated and available for use, but the beach club will not be providing food or staffing volunteers to cook and coordinate.
We will discuss alternate event schedules and options at our monthly meeting this Monday. We apologize for the late announcement and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Night to Unite
Night to Unite (National Night Out) is a statewide event that builds and fosters community bonds between citizens, businesses, and public safety organizations, such as the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. This annual celebration occurs on the first Tuesday in August and gathers neighborhoods and public safety personnel together for an evening to promote safe communities.
Night to Unite goals are to:
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
Generate support and participation in crime prevention and community policing programs.
Strengthen neighborhood spirits and public safety-community partnerships.
Let criminals know that you are committed to keeping your neighborhood safe.
Neighborhoods across the state display outdoor lights and front porch vigils and celebrate with a variety of events and activities, including block parties and cookouts, with visits from sheriff’s offices, police and fire departments, and elected officials.
Night to Unite has proven to be an effective, inexpensive, and enjoyable opportunity to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in pursuit of safer communities. Community benefits often extend beyond this single evening event as neighbors get to know each other and the public safety agencies that serve them.
