Ty Davis
WBBCC President
Welcome to another beautiful Minnesota summer on White Bear Lake! On behalf of the WBBCC board and volunteers, Iād like to thank all our members for their participation and support. Our members and volunteers are vital as we steward the beach to enjoy now and for generations to come.
This year is the 70th season for our club. While the world has changed immensely since that time, some things are very much the same. A swim in the lake on a hot day and a cool breeze coming in from the water are great reminders that MN has much more to offer than mosquitos and excessive humidity. Please join us down at the beach this season and experience it for yourself. We have a few great events planned throughout the season and we would love to see you all there.
The executive board and committees are working on a few long-term administrative projects to refine our seasonal tasks, technology use, updates to documentation, and leadership guidance. These projects are ongoing, and our hope is to modernize the organizational structure, allowing future volunteers and members to participate with confidence and accessibility to resources.
Our beach and neighborhood club are unique. People who move here from other states are surprised and delighted that we have such a valuable resource shared amongst a group of neighbors. We are extremely proud of the work that our members have done to keep the club and property in good health. I implore you to come to a meeting or reach out to me and find out how you can be a part of the legacy that was created 70 years ago.
Thank you,
Ty Davis, WBBCC President
